A father, quits his role as a 800 word columnist for a top Sydney paper that is selling. Over the internet he buys a house onto an urge in a New Zealand town. Then has to break the news for his two teenage children who lost their mother, and now face an even more uncertain future. Nevertheless, the inquisitive and colourful locals ensure his dream of a brand new start doesn't proceed to plan.
