Two German arms merchants are kidnapped, and a German police detective is dispatched to Algiers to find them. Beginning a torrid romance with an Algerian prosecutor investigating the case for her country certainly wasn't the best decision, but as the two delve deeper, they unearth a corruption scandal that tests their commitment to their respective nations and to one another.
