A mysterious man hiding in Amsterdam's canal system embarks on a rampage of gruesome murders, frightening city officials and leaving few hints for the city's greatest detective, that doesn't assume that both his newest girlfriend along with twelve-year-old daughter could be closer than he ever would be to finding the killer.
