Cal Piker hasn't seen his sis Samantha given that their mom's funeral, so when he interrupts her English lecture one early morning with a proposal - a week out in the woods of Oregon, trying to find Bigfoot in the famous 'Ape Canyon' - she is more than a little shocked. But it's an unsafe thing to be led about by Cal, a careless, frustratingly likable child sibling, passionate to the point of impracticality to locate Bigfoot for himself. For Cal, this is not a matter of legend. This is not simply some adventure. If Samantha doesn't stop him, Cal will either discover Bigfoot or die attempting.
