Valeria is 17 years old and expecting a child. Clara, her half sister, and she live in Puerto Vallarta. Valeria did not want her long-absent mother, April, to learn about her pregnancy, but Clara chooses to call their mother because of the financial pressure and the tremendous responsibility of having a kid at home. April arrives, eager to help her girls, but it's not long before we realize why Valeria had asked her to go.
