Overview
ARMADILLO is an account of growing cynicism and adrenaline dependence for soldiers at war. Mads and Daniel are on their very first mission in Helmand, Afghanistan. Their platoon is stationed in Camp Armadillo, close to the Helmand frontline, fighting with battles against the Taliban. The soldiers is not there to help the Afghan people, however as fighting gets tougher and surgeries increasingly hairy, Mads, Daniel and their buddies become suspicious, widening the gap between themselves and the Afghan civilisation. Mistrust and paranoia set in causing alienation and disillusion. Armadillo is a journey in to the prince's mind and also also a film on the story of war and man, staged in Afghanistan in its own version.
