Philippe Gerbier finds himself trapped at a prison camp that is torturous. Though Gerbier escapes to rejoin the Opposition in Marseilles, France, and exacts his revenge on the informant, he must continue a battle from the Nazis within an atmosphere of disbelief, paranoia and tension.
