Barabbas or Jesus Barabbas (essentially "kid of the daddy" or "Jesus, child of the dad" respectively) is a figure in the account of the Interest of Christ, in which he is the insurrectionary whom Pontius Pilate freed at the Passover feast in Jerusalem, rather than Jesus Christ.
