Psychopathic free spirit Betty Blue meets repairman Zorg, a writer by day and lover by night, and the two begin a relationship that quickly turns sexual. The two participate in a variety of sexual adventures and grow increasingly passionate toward one another as the story progresses. Betty comes across Zorg's book and is immediately supportive; nevertheless, her own instability eventually gets the better of her.
