Overview
Brass Eye is really a UK tv collection of satirical information magazines. A collection of six episodes aired on Channel 4 in 1997, and also a further episode in 2001.
The collection was created by Chris Morris, also composed by David Quantick Morris, Peter Baynham, Jane Bussmann, Arthur Mathews and Graham Linehan. The series was led by Michael Cumming. It ended up being a sequel to Morris teaser news programmes About The Hour and The Day Today. It satirised networking portrayal of societal ills, in production and sensationalism of moral panics. The series starred Morris's The Day Today colleague Doon MacKichan and Gina McKee, Mark Heap, Simon Pegg, Julia Davis and Kevin Eldon.
