Overview
In 1942, Archie Glass is attempting to break into the film industry in Los Angeles. As luck would have it, he is given the opportunity to fulfill his Hollywood ambitions when he is hired to locate a young white movie star before the press becomes aware that she has gone missing. When the background performers in jungle movies, maids, and other supporting roles are brought to the foreground in this suspenseful noir about a guy who will do anything to realize his ambition, you'll see a side of Los Angeles you've never seen before. More lies than truth are found in the back alleys of Hollywood by Archie. In the end, he discovers both the woman he's been searching for and the harsh reality of being a black guy in Hollywood.
