Carnivàle is a American television Show set during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl in the United States. In tracing the lives of two groups of people, its story depicts also the struggle between destiny and free will and the struggle between good and evil. The storyline combines Masonic and gnosticism lore, particularly that of the Knights Templar and theology.
