As Los Angeles prepares for Halloween, armed robbers wearing masks seriously wound the partner of detective James Knight in a gunfight following a heist. With Knight hot on their heels, the bandits depart Los Angeles for New York, where the detective's dark past collides with his current investigation and threatens to tear his life apart...unless forgiveness can take Knight first.
