When Nora Ephron's daughter Jacob Bernstein was born, she was reared by screenwriters in Hollywood and went on to become an award-winning journalist and essayist before moving on to become an award-winning novelist/director/screenwriter/playwright. Ephron's comments; the memories of her sisters, coworkers, previous spouses, and many friends; sequences from her movies; and, most all, her own inimitable presence make her films come to life.
