Amin reflects on his history as an Afghan child refugee as he grapples with a secret he has kept concealed for 20 years. A riveting documentary told through a combination of animation and historical video depicts the story of a gay Afghan survivor and his need to confront his past in order to have a true future. Amin came to Denmark from Afghanistan as an unaccompanied teenager. He is now 36 years old, a successful professor, and engaged to his long-time boyfriend.
