Overview
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an animated television series that aired for 79 episodes over six seasons from August 2004 to May 2009. The premise is based on a simple question: What happens to the kids' imagined pals as they grow up in a world... where they are living, tangible beings? Are they abandoned, or do they live on? They come to Foster's, of course, according to Craig McCracken! Foster's is a home for imaginary friends whose children have outgrown them. It is a place where friends can live together until they are adopted by a child in need. The show follows Mac, an 8-year-old shy and imaginative boy whose mother kicks him out of his house and forces him to live at Foster's. Mac does not want Bloo to be adopted by another child, thus it is agreed that Bloo will not be placed for adoption if Mac visits him every day. Bloo's pompous, mischievous personality is diametrically opposed to Mac's, and the two cause havoc throughout the house.
