Overview
Two estranged brothers are reunited following their mother's death. Her final dream is for them to be reunited with their abusive, drunken father at their hometown. They embark on a journey that takes them to their hometown, which is filled with sad memories that the younger brother has forgotten and the older brother wishes he could forget. As each brother reintroduces himself to the town and its inhabitants, they struggle to define home, both for those who remain and for those who depart. Finally, they are confronted with their father's memory and man, and are compelled to choose between forgiveness and bitterness. 'Generational Sins' delves into the themes of home, grace, and forgiveness, examining how these concepts influence our choices and the consequences they have on people's lives.
