John Stewart, a recently retired Marine sniper, is at a crossroads in his life when he receives the Green Lantern ring. The ring doesn't come with instructions, but it does come with an army of interplanetary killers bent on killing every Green Lantern. With the help of Green Arrow, Adam Strange, and Hawkgirl, this hesitant soldier must enter the Rann/Thanagar battle and succeed where all others have failed.
