Addie misplaced the ring that had been passed down from her grandmother in the ocean of Hawaii when she was helping to prepare for her sister's wedding. Jack, who is a certified scuba diver and instructor, is the person that she employs to look for her lost treasure. When Addie insisted that she accompany Jack on his pursuit, they instantly came into conflict with each other. After they come to an arrangement, Jack winds up being Addie's tour guide of the island's lesser-known attractions and landmarks.
