Hideo Suzuki can be just a manga-ka assistant, whose entire life appear to be stuck around his exhausting but low-paying project, unfulfilled fantasies, hallucinations that are strange and unsatisfying relationships. He sees himself as a character in his life, has low selfesteem, resulting in frustration. The world since Hideo knows the existence of a disorder which turns people into homicidal maniacs, whose first impulse will be to attack and devour the nearest human shatters it.
