With the ice age nearly up on them, a trio of prehistoric creatures -- Diego the sabertoothed tiger, Manny the woolly mammoth along with Sid the sloth -- find an infant and choose to return it to its individual parents. On the way, when enemies attack the allies become friends however, their pursuit takes on far more noble goals.
