When a youthful Olympic ski team comes in the distant and isolated Lost Mountain Ski Resort to focus on training, they are ecstatic to find a former Olympic skier there to assist them. However, their preparations are thwarted when a scientist from a neighboring government lab arrives with the terrifying news that a top-secret government study has resulted in huge spiders that have escaped and are killing and eating everything in sight.
