Overview
Adapted from the 1951 non fiction accounts by psycho-analyst Georges Devereux,"Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian," the film follows the real story of Picard (Del Toro), a Plains Indian of the Blackfeet nation, because he returns from WWII and starts experiencing Allergic symptoms briefly afterwards. He adheres into the famous Winter Hospital in Topeka, Kansas, at which he meets Devereux (Amalric), so beginning a skilled and individual friendship guided by compassion and understanding of indigenous American civilization.
