Paul Giamatti portrays John Adams. Tom Hooper directed the mini series. Kirk Ellis wrote the screenplay. The biopic of John Adams and the narrative of the first fifty decades of the United States was broadcast in seven parts from HBO between March 16 and April 20, 2008. John Adams received esteemed awards, and widespread critical acclaim. The show won four Golden Globe awards and Six Emmy awards, and it is more than any other mini-series ever sold.
