The Kims' funny story, a Korean-Canadian family, managing a convenience store in downtown Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Kim ('Appa' and'Umma') immigrated to Toronto from the 80's to setup shop near Regent Park and had two kids, Jung and Janet that are young adults. When Jung was 16, he and Appa had a big falling out in clumps between stolen money, a physical fight and Jung. Son and father have been estranged since.
