Overview
Andy Yeats, a petrochemist, is aware of how dependent the world is on oil. If something were to happen to the world's supply of oil, it would start off a chain reaction in which transportation would come to a standstill, supplies would not be delivered, and law enforcement would be overburdened. Andy finds that his greatest fears are coming true while he is on a business trip in the Middle East, and that his family is separated at this vital moment because of it. While he, his wife, Elena, and his little son, Sam, are in Paris, his teenage daughter, Laura, is left behind at home in London by herself. In the midst of all this mayhem, every member of the family will give up everything they hold dear in order to locate the other members of their clan, despite the great distance and the perils that stand between them.
