Miss Ripley is about an orphan named Jang Mi Ri who, like the Talented Mr. Ripley, lives from one lie to the next. It is loosely based on the story of a discredited Dongguk University professor who lied about her educational background. She starts down a dark path when she tells a simple lie about her education at a job interview. From there, the story of Miss Ripley moves into the lives of two very important rivals, Jang Myung Hoon and Yutaka, who both work in the hotel business and fall in love with the dishonest main character. Hee Joo, a friend of Mi Ri's from childhood, can see right through all the lies.
