The narrative is set after having a long-retired Holmes living in a Sussex village with his housekeeper and detective kid. But he then finds himself haunted by an unsolved case. Holmes' memory isn't what it used to be, so he only remembers a secret bond along with his wife that is beautiful but shaky, fragments of this case: a confrontation with an angry husband.
