Nitram copes with his mommy as well as daddy in suburban Australia in the mid 1990s. He lives a life of seclusion, discouraged at his inability to suit. That is, until he unexpectedly locates a buddy in a reclusive heiress, Helen. Nonetheless, when that relationship ends in tragedy, Nitram's loneliness as well as anger heighten, and he starts a sluggish downward spiral that causes catastrophe.
