A group of men jump out of a plane and land in Burma, which is ruled by the Japanese. They have a dangerous and important mission: to find and blow up a radar station. They do this well enough, but when they try to meet up at an old airstrip to be taken back to their base, they find Japanese waiting for them. They have to walk back through enemy-controlled jungle, which is a long and difficult journey.
