Danny Muldoon, a Chicago cop, continues to live with his domineering mother Rose. He meets Theresa Luna, whose father owns the local funeral home, and they fall in love. His mother, understandably, disagrees to the connection, and Danny and Theresa must either overcome her concerns or abandon their romance.
