Hollywood manufacturer Alexander Meyerheimer has hired drunken writer Richard Benson to compose his movie. Benson has been holed up in a Paris apartment taking care of the script for months, but instead has spent enough full time living up this. Benson now has just two weeks to the deadline and hires a temporary secretary, Gabrielle Simpson, to help him complete it.
