The dawn of some little city Labour Day picnic, a drifter (Hal Carter) blows into town to visit an old fraternity friend (Alan Benson) who also appears to be the son of the richest man in town. Hal is a braggart - all potential no accomplishment. He matches up with the city beauty queen, Madge Owens and buddy of Alan Benson.
