Barbara Barry is finally sent to school after being cossetted and bored by her busy, albeit doting, widowed soap manufacturing father. When her nurse is injured in route, Barbara finds herself alone in town and eventually becomes a member of the radio song-and-dance group Dolan and Dolan, which is sponsored by a rival soap firm.
