In the midst of a chain reaction of fate-altering events, Ray finds Helen. They are strangers, over the age of60, destitute, and alone. Both in the huge city and on a little farm, they were at their lowest ebb. Not giving up or giving in is a challenge. Then, one by one, and seemingly out of nowhere, each person is struck by a series of bizarre and unexpected incidents.
