It was stated at the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu: Memory Snow OVA pre-screening event that the Re:Zero franchise will receive another OVA. It will adapt the prequel novel "Hyouketsu no Kizuna," which was included in the television series' first Blu-ray and DVD volume. The episode will center on Emilia and her encounter with Pack on the way to Roswaal Mansion to run for the royal election.
