Overview
Robinson Crusoe escapes Britain on a ship after murdering his friend over Mary's love. A fierce ocean storm destroys his ship, leaving him alone on an uncharted island. Crusoe is left to fend for himself on the island until he meets Friday, a tribesman whom he saves from being sacrificed. Crusoe is overjoyed to finally have a friend, but he must defend himself against the tribe who uses the island to sacrifice tribesmen to their gods. Despite their differences in culture and religion, their relationship evolves from master-slave to mutually respected friendship over time.
