When Kristen returns home after taking a vacation from college, she discovers Jake, an attractive stranger, residing in her old room. Moira, her mother, reveals that she welcomed Jake to reside with her as a tenant to assist with household expenditures. Kristen soon learns that Jake and Moira are not only sleeping together, but that Jake also has a dark, violent past.
