Former cheerleader Aubrey Anderson, 21, auditions for the Los Angeles Renegades. Wilson, a player, becomes her love interest. Wilson gets arrested after Brooke, a "Renegade Girl" and Wilson's ex-girlfriend, is found slain. Wilson is charged by the police, but Aubrey feels he is innocent. Aubrey sets out to locate the murderer, questioning a number of possibilities, including the creepy janitor, the spiteful coach, and the envious, competitive cheerleader.
