Modern day Taipei's borders wander, by their outskirts to the rain streaked streets of the city's woods and rivers. While his son and daughter roam the supermarkets and fries living off food samples by day the father scrapes out a massive income like a billboard for luxury apartments. Each night the household takes shelter in an abandoned building. A hypnotic mural adorning this home's wall strangely affects the father. On the day of the dad birthday the family is connected by a woman - could she be the trick to unlocking the buried emotions that linger from the last?
