1880, B.I. Robert Case, a half-caste officer, is unfairly dismissed. The Bengali tribesmen revolt against the colonial enemy. They catch a foreign journalist, and Case describes his experience of being falsely accused by his commanding officers' intolerance and racism. Captain Case is brutally murdered by Colonel Drewe after a successful British counter-attack against the rebels. Returning to Kandahar, the journalist is determined to uncover the truth.
