Overview
Jane announces at breakfast that the following week, she and Ralph will marry. Jane and Ralph are only interested in a quiet wedding with close family and no reception. This is due to the fact that Jane's parents are impoverished and Jane and Ralph can borrow a car for their honeymoon. However, at that night's supper, all Ralph's parents discuss is the lavish weddings they gave their daughters, and the situation quickly worsens. Suddenly, it is transformed into a large wedding brunch attended by hundreds of people. The issue is that Tom has been saving money for 12 years to get his own taxi and license, but now that he can, he is spending it all on a wedding that neither he, Jane, or Ralph desire.
