Bernie works at a Las Vegas casino, where he utilizes his inherent capability to lead to misfortune in those round him to losing, to jinx gamblers. His boss, Shelly Kaplow, is happy with the arrangement. However, Bernie finds happiness if he begins dating waitress Natalie Belisario.
