In a secluded coal mine, a weird monster was discovered seven years ago. Since then, reports of a plague have spread throughout the small village, and the inhabitants have developed an unexplained mental condition. A teenage Shugendo practitioner vanishes, only to reappear altered and determined to rid the world of the monstrosities that plague it.
