The Dick Van Dyke Show is a American television sitcom that first aired on CBS in October 3, 1961, before June 1, 1966. The series starred Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, Morey Amsterdam and Dick Van Dyke and Was Made by Carl Reiner. It based around tv comedy writer Rob Petrie's home and work life. The series was created by Reiner by Bill Persky and Sam Denoff. The music for the theme song of your show was written by Earle Hagen.
15 Emmy Awards were won by the series. In 1997, the episodes"Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" and"It May Look Like a Walnut" were rated at 8 and 15 respectively on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes Ever. At 1-3 , it had been ranked in 2002 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.
