In Russian, The End of St. Petersburg (Konets Sankt-Peterburga) is a 1927 silent film directed by Vsevolod Pudovkin and produced by Mezhrabpom. With The End of St Petersburg, Pudovkin cemented his reputation as one of the greatest Soviet montage filmmakers and cemented his position in history. With Mother(1926) and Storm Over Asia(1928), it is part of Pudovkin's "revolutionary trilogy" (1928).
