In 1900, strongwilled widow Lucy Muir proceeds to live by the seaside in Gull Cottage, though it looks haunted. Sure enough, this night she meets with the ghost of owner Captain Gregg. . .and neglects to panic off. Once Lucy gets accustomed to the concept of a person's ghost haunting her bedroom, they eventually become allies and friends.
