David Warner leads a band of modern-day pirates who prey on vacationing tourists' yachts and sailboats in the Caribbean. Michael Caine is a reporter who travels to the area with his son to investigate the disappearance of the boats. He encounters Warner and his gang of raiders, who decide to accept him into their tribe.
