Overview
"The Laramie Project" is set in and around Laramie, Wyoming, in the aftermath of the murder of 21-year-old Matthew Shepard. To produce the point version of"The Laramie Project," that the eight-member New York-based Tectonic Theatre Project traveled to Laramie, Wyoming, documenting hours of interviews with all town's taxpayers over a six-month period. The movie adaptation dramatizes the trip, using the real words by the transcripts to produce a portrait of that the troupe.
