Screenwriter John Davies has become fed up with living in London and goes into an old manor house at a West Wales village to get out of the pit of debt. In the beginning he likes himself, starting a romantic romance and embracing the quieter pace of life. However strange, unexplained happenings begin to occur in the manor house.
